As Mayor of Lancaster I have had many opportunities to meet with Members of the Chinese Community in the Lancaster district.

Although there is already a wonderful relationship between the district and its Chinese communities, we can always do more
to strengthen those links even further. The events of 2011 to celebrate the Lancaster Chinese New Year will be a wonderful way to encourage the involvement of the whole of our community in a wonderful celebration of the Chinese culture.
