Artists Residency
The Lancaster Chinese Arts Festival endeavours to support artists’ development and practice through a residency programme aimed at linking artists exploring arts and culture of Chinese origin with Lancaster Districts arts organisations, settings and community.
We are open to proposals from artists of both Chinese and non-Chinese ethnic heritage and working in any medium – visual, performing, digital, music, martial, installation and other art forms.
Further details will be released for future festivals here – including briefs, funding and support available.

Reaching new and underserved audiences in arts and creative activities are at the heart of the festival. We strive to nurture new and innovative ways to include people of all backgrounds in the festival. Find out more about past programmes or suggest new ways we can collaborate!
