The Hua Xian Chinese Society established the Lancaster Chinese New Year Festival in 2005 and have continued to manage and produce the festival since to it’s new position as the Lancaster Chinese Arts Festival.
The Society is a philanthropic organisation based in Lancaster and Morecambe that provides welfare, educational and cultural services for the local community. The Lancaster Chinese Arts Festival is part of an annual programme of cultural events and activities in partnership with other local groups and organisations.
