As Leader of Lancaster City Council I welcome any opportunity to meet with members of many different communities. I especially enjoy attending the Chinese New Year celebrations. I always receive a warm welcome and enjoy the good food, great entertainment and good company.

I look forward to the events this year and wish to thank the Hua Xian Chinese Society who organise them. I wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
