The Hua Xian Chinese Society organised the biggest celebration of Chinese New Year in Morecambe so far bringing together incredible performances from martial artists from across the North West – Northern Dragons Lion Dance and Blackpool Qilin Performing Arts Troupe, community volunteers performing the dragon dance created by artist Raymond Chan and supported by performances from Batala samba drumming group.
Market stalls thronged the road along Victoria Street connecting the Arndale Centre, and the funfair behind Morecambe’s Winter Gardens.
