Marisa showed a talent for the stage from an early age developing skills in elocution, acting, circus and song.
Marisa worked as a clown for community festivals across Scotland. She studied acting, mask and puppet theatre before joining “Puppet Lab” as a narrator/puppeteer for a UK tour. She travelled to U.S.A. to work with mask and puppet theatre “Bread and Puppet Theatre” one of the world’s great theatre groups.
Marisa moved to Devon to study for a BA in Devised Drama and an MA in Dramatherapy. She now uses her love for creative arts to promote social, psychological health and well-being for children.

Marisa has performed with ‘PuppetCraft’ in over 150 performances of ‘Monkey’ on tour throughout the U.K.

Chandni Lakhani is a London-based playwright and screenwriter. Born into a Gujarati-Indian family, but bred in the North-East Hampshire countryside, Chandni’s writing career blossomed from a childhood obsession with telling stories, often trying to make sense of the vibrant fusion of cultures around her. ‘Hema Anjali’ is Chandni’s first theatre commission.

Sammy was born and raised in Longsight, Manchester to a Vietnamese Chinese family. She graduated from the University College of London this year and has since been working in film production. Her Chinese name is “Wong Mei Gwan”, which translates literally into “Yellow Beautiful Queen”. Since learning this, she refuses to be addressed by any other name.
Ross has been acting since the mid 1990s and has appeared in productions of Othello, Teechers, Macbeth, A Man for All Seasons, and The Little Shop of Horrors and, more recently, as Lennie in Of Mice and Men (Lighthouse, Poole), a Corner man/Bailiff in Sucker Punch (Royal Court, London), Ben in The Dumb Waiter (The Mill Theatre, Guildford), Number 4 in Fewer Emergencies (The Print Room, London), Pembroke/Austria in King John (Union Theatre, London), Ned in Parlour Song (Cockpit Theatre, London), Jake in 27 Wagons Full of Cotton (Riverside Studios, London) and The Stage Manager in Our Town (Apollo Theatre Company, Touring).
His directing credits include Tom Jones, Punchline, 27 Wagons Full of Cotton/ The Interview, Life, The Princess and The Pea, The Autumn of Han, and DiaoChan.
Among his writing credits are a stage adaptation of Henry Fielding’s Tom Jones – which has been optioned by LA Theatre Works in California – Punchline, Life, The Autumn of Han and the critically acclaimed, and OffWestend Awards nominated, Casualties, which is published by Methuen Drama. His latest solo show, The Unknown Soldier, received 5 and 4 stars reviews at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015, shortlisted for Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence and SOLD-OUT at Edinburgh Fringe 2016 at the Assembly.

She has also appeared in numerous short films and in small roles on television, and works extensively as a voice over artist in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Michelle is also one of the founders of Red Dragonfly Productions.
Megha is young upcoming South Asian actress. She is known for working along-side Rikki Beadle Blair in the hit ‘Elemental’ performed at the Bush Theatre, as well as being a part of ‘The Angelic Tales’ season performing the new play ‘I Aint Dumb’ written By Thomas Wright.
Last summer she performed at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and did a masterclass with the royal theatre Haymarket.
